Drifting Lattice Scarf

Drifting Lattice Scarf

I alternated a stockinette stitch pattern along with a lace lattice stitch pattern to create this scarf. I used 1 skein, the entire skein, of Encore “Drifting” # 7744 yarn to create it. I only do easy lace patterns so this is definitely a beginner lace pattern. I also created a 4 garter stitch border on each side of it. Most people do all knit stitches when doing a garter stitch but I do all purls so that’s why you see P4 at the beg and end of each row.

Very nice! Thanks for the pattern.

Hmmm ... I'm thinking of doing it as a table runner. I'm all scarfed up.

Hi. I love this scarf, but I can't seem to figure out the pattern. I counted 29 stitches per row, row 1 + & lose two stitches, and rows 5 + 11 increase two stitches. Am I reading it wrong or something? I want to make this so bad! Any help would be appreciated.
