This is something that I've been doing since I started knitting /crocheting in 2008. I figured if I only made items for myself I would run out of things to make so I started knitting and crocheting for many charities.

Need the following hand made items on an ongoing basis:
*4, 6 and 12 inch crochet or knit squares
*laprobes, blankets, afghans, quilts
*chemo hats for all ages
*baby items
*winter items
*slippers
*toys

I just sent them 50+ granny squares. I love that they post the blankets that are made. It's great to see the beautiful blankets that came from your squares. The pictures are on their blog CLICK HERE.

Volunteers make lap afghans and greeting cards for seniors to bring comfort to them. They are distributed to nursing homes and home care patients. I've made a couple lap afghans for them. One of them can be found on my Crochet Blog HERE.
